FAQ
What are services not offered through virtual care?
Although we provide medical consultation for almost any condition, this is done virtually. We’re unable to perform any physical procedures, like suturing or splinting.
Services not available through virtual care are pre-employment, pre-op clearance, occupational health, Immigration service, worker’s compensation, tuberculosis testing (Quantiferon/PPD), or commercial driver’s license (CDL).
How does virtual care work?
Virtual care involves online communication between a doctor and patient through a video conferencing platform or app using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Can I pay for my virtual care appointment without insurance?
If you have no insurance, we provide our services without insurance for self-pay patients, giving you the care when you need it most.
How long would a virtual visit appointment take?
This may vary ( depending on the medical condition) anywhere from 10-15 minutes.
How do I prepare for a virtual doctor visit?
To prepare for a virtual visit, find a quiet place in your home or office and use headphones or earbuds if necessary. It would also be helpful to have good lighting in case the doctor needs to do a physical check. Make sure to have a list of your symptoms, medical history, and any questions you may have regarding your condition.
Does my insurance cover a virtual care service?
Virtual care is more cost-effective and flexible than in-office consultations, so most insurances cover virtual care services. However, we recommend that you check with your health insurance company before booking an appointment.
What are the benefits of virtual health?
Virtual health care helps patients save time and money, especially if they have to commute to the clinic or if they are unable to take time off of work. It is also a safe way to consult a doctor without having to expose yourself to contagious illnesses outdoors.
How do I pay for virtual care, and where is my information stored?
You’ll be able to pay through our Nao Medical app, and your payment information is stored on our highly secure online platform.
If you choose to make an appointment via telephone, we will send you a highly secure payment link. We select only the most secure payment methods to ensure patient privacy and safety.

I’ve been to Nao Medical, I think, three times, and their staff is delightful. If you are in dire pain, they take you in as soon as possible, if not sooner. The offices and exam rooms are spotless. All of the medical staff is very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. I highly recommend it.

The staff and the doctors were all very kind and caring. I was very worried about my child’s health. I appreciate your clinic being open on Saturdays. This saved us a trip to the ER, which can be scary for a child. Thank you again!

My visits have been fantastic both times I’ve gone. The woman at the front desk was courteous and professional, and prompt. The nurse was excellent. Same treatment as the front desk and the smoothest phlebotomist going. The doctor was great, calm, thorough, polite, and knowledgeable. I wish he were my GP. Overall? 11 out of 10.

My daughter came in with stomach pain, and your doctor was able to diagnose that she probably had appendicitis. I took her to the emergency room, and she did have to have her appendix removed. Thank you so much for your help.
