About COVID-19 testing for events

To make sure that you and your guests are in a safe environment during your special event, Nao Medical (formerly Statcare) offers COVID-19 testing to help make sure that unvaccinated and partially vaccinated guests are clear to enter and mingle with other guests.

What COVID tests can be done on-site?

We can do both rapid antigen testing and PCR testing on-site during your event. However, if you want someone to get cleared for entry immediately, rapid tests are highly recommended. These tests can generate results in as little as 15 minutes whereas PCR tests may take three to five days for results to be available.

How much does a bulk COVID test for events cost?

The cost for bulk COVID testing for events may vary. To request for more information regarding the availability of an on-site testing team and special discounts for group testing, please contact us.

Other services offered: COVID-19 vaccine and booster

Aside from COVID-19 testing for events, we also offer COVID-19 vaccines and boosters on-site or in any Nao Medical clinic in New York. To learn more about COVID vaccines, you can check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

FAQ

What events can have on-site COVID testing?

Any event can have on-site COVID testing, be it indoors or outdoors. It can be events for family gatherings, social get-togethers, corporate parties, school events, and more.

What is the difference between a PCR test and a rapid COVID-19 test?

The difference between a PCR test and a rapid COVID-19 test is that the former takes a few days to get results but the results are more accurate because it can detect small amounts of the virus even when there are no symptoms. The latter, on the other hand, can generate results in as little as 15 minutes but can only detect if the virus is already active in your body.

How accurate are rapid and PCR tests?

Both rapid and PCR tests are accurate. The main difference is that rapid tests can generate results in as little as 15 minutes, making it an ideal option for live events. PCR tests, on the other hand, are more sensitive and can detect the presence of the COVID virus even in smaller samples. Results for these tests, however, will only be available in 3 to 7 days.

Should vaccinated individuals also get tested during events?

Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to get tested during events if they can show proof of their COVID vaccination. In the event that the individual is showing symptoms and is suspected to have COVID-19, he/she will need to get tested before getting cleared for entry.

What to do if I become sick after attending an event?

If you get sick after attending an event, quarantine yourself, monitor your symptoms, and get tested. For more guidance on what to do, check out the CDC’s recommendations here.

My daughter came in with stomach pain, and your doctor was able to diagnose that she probably had appendicitis. I took her to the emergency room, and she did have to have her appendix removed. Thank you so much for your help.

I’ve been to Nao Medical, I think, three times, and their staff is delightful. If you are in dire pain, they take you in as soon as possible, if not sooner. The offices and exam rooms are spotless. All of the medical staff is very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. I highly recommend it.

The staff and the doctors were all very kind and caring. I was very worried about my child’s health. I appreciate your clinic being open on Saturdays. This saved us a trip to the ER, which can be scary for a child. Thank you again!

My visits have been fantastic both times I’ve gone. The woman at the front desk was courteous and professional, and prompt. The nurse was excellent. Same treatment as the front desk and the smoothest phlebotomist going. The doctor was great, calm, thorough, polite, and knowledgeable. I wish he were my GP. Overall? 11 out of 10.
